Melco Engineering Pty Ltd, a locally owned and operated company, has successfully completed major steel fabrication, steel erection, and shutdown contracts for some of Queensland's and Australia's most prominent companies.

Since 1994, director Mark Clifford has seen the company expand from its humble beginnings at the Mackay Harbour to what it is today, with a huge 3500m2 workshop and 1.1-hectare yard.

Melco only recruit elite and ambitious steel fabrication tradesmen both nationally and internationally. Currently, Melco have arguably the best equipped steel fabrication facilities in Central and Northern Queensland region and are continuously upgrading and increasing our capabilities with the latest technologies.

The company specialises in steel fabrication and is able to offer a wide range of services including engineering construction, maintenance services, steel fabrication, material processing, labour hire, crane hire and much more.

Melco's facility is equipped with 2x50t, 1x25t, & 4x10t Overhead Cranes. Workshop equipment includes: 1200t x 6m Press Brake, 320t x 4.3m Press Brake, 165t Geka Punch & Shear, 50t Geake Punch & Shear, 360sam Bandsaw. 30t Welding Rotators, and a large range of welding equipment.
