Our 11 swim schools and over 350 staff serve the needs of over 10,000 families every week. Many of our families are second and third generation customers and positive word of mouth referral continues to be our greatest compliment.

Our Program

Carlile Swimming provides aquatic education programs for children from 3 months old to squad swimming including adult learn to swim. Our programs are the culmination of over 60 years of experience, research & innovation & this ensures a consistent, child centred & professional experience in accordance with the Carlile Teaching Philosophy.

The Carlile Steps to Success has been developed to incorporate a series of graded class levels that enable children to develop & practice key techniques & skills. This stepwise approach ensures children learn with others at a similar level & progress as strokes & skills are completed. Our Supervisors are continually assessing children to ensure they are in the appropriate level.

Getting started at Carlile Swimming is very easy.

Simply contact your local Carilie Swimming centre and we'll get in touch at a time that suits you to explain our world leading programs.

Our customer service professional will then organise for a skills assessment to be completed that will determine the most appropriate class for your child or yourself.

This process ensures your child or yourself is placed with other students of equal ability, providing the best environment to excel and grow with confidence.

Things You Need to Know

Our programs operate at different times of the day. Pre-school levels for those children not yet at primary school operate in the morning session (between 8-30am and 12-30 pm). School Age levels operate in the afternoon session (3-30pm and 6-00pm). Families with children in different levels may prefer to attend our weekend sessions.
