Established in 1937 by accountant Eric Edwards, Wollcom, or Wollongong Commercial Services as it was formerly known, has endured the test of time.
During the Second World War Wollongong Commercial Services (WCS) stood stagnant as Eric worked for a government manpower program. But the post war boom quickly brought the company back to life. An increasing need for credit control services led to significant business growth and before long WCS became a nationally recognised credit bureau.
