Willoughby Park

Once upon a time in the early 1800's Henry John Willoughby was born in England. He was to become a Major General serving the Empire in India - helping to protect the precious coffees and teas so vital a part of India's importance to the homeland.

In keeping with the family's adventurous nature one of the General's daughters married a South American tea and coffee plantation owner. Eventually as this branch of the family travelled so did the Willoughby name - through the generations and across the seas - to Australia's Great Southern wine region.

Combining passion and experience - 40 years of industry know how Willoughby Park Winery is a new and exciting Great Southern winery in the picturesque little town of Denmark. Under the skills of head winemaker Michael Goundrey the Jamie & Charli and Willoughby Park wine ranges are made.

Jamie & Charli hail from Denmark pioneering families of several generations and live just down the hill and around the corner from Willoughby Park. Popular young locals, businessman Jamie, has a connection to the property and is often seen (some would say loitering!) around the winery.

He is looking forward to the brewery! - but in the meantime is a key promoter of Jamie & Charli in the Great Southern and beyond.
