Our exploration drilling package includes fully equipped, mobile Reverse Circulation and Diamond Drill rigs, remote accommodation and fully trained crews. We arrange all logistics and supervision.

Ausdrill Northwest is part of the Ausdrill Group, founded in 1987 in Kalgoorlie with a single drill rig. Today Ausdrill provides drilling services ranging from exploration to drill and blast, grade control, coal seam gas and water well drilling, to resource companies across Australia and in Africa.

To support its drilling operations, Ausdrill also designs and manufactures its own drill rigs, DTH drilling consumables and rods. Ausdrill uses its extensive fleet in the field, and thousands of drilling professionals, to develop and test new drilling technology. This helps keep Ausdrill at the forefront of the drilling industry & ensures there is no ground that Ausdrill can't drill productively.

Our Fleet

A well maintained fleet

Our fleet is supported by fully equipped workshops in Newman and Perth and a mobile maintenance crew that provides on-the-job servicing and maintenance. Our drill crews are trained in servicing and troubleshooting, ensuring lower down time and higher productivity.

The best rigs for the geology

Our fleet includes DRA600, RCD 250S and Schramm T685 WS RC drill rigs with quality sampling and splitting systems on board. Among the seven diamond drill rigs we have a DRA800 and KWL1600S, capable of drilling in excess of 2000 metres. These rigs are built to handle the harsh conditions of the Western Australian North West.

Our supervisors,many of whom are ex-drillers, understand the particular challenges of drillingin Western Australia. They are capable of guiding and supporting remoteoperations and are focused on ensuring that all work tasks are conducted safelyand efficiently at all times.

The team knows the terrain

We have operated in the tough geological conditions of Western Australia's North West, Kimberley and Goldfields since 2003. Our rigs and equipment are specifically built or adapted for Western Australia's rugged terrain and climate. Our crews are trained to work safely and effectively and independently in demanding environments.
