The kind of aged care that elderly Australians really want is available at last. Seasons Supported Living is a new but already proven concept in aged care. It allows seniors to live independently & privately in their own home. Seasons residents benefit from enjoying the companionship, freedom & security normally found in a retirement village, combined with personal, 24-hour care.
That's what makes Seasons Supported Living the better choice. Seasons is a vastly improved kind of aged care for discerning seniors who want a balance between independence, security and care - with the lifestyle choices they have always enjoyed.
What is Seasons Supported Living?
Seasons Supported Living was developed by aged-care experts who know what you already know: that many Australians are dissatisfied with the residential care choices available to seniors today.
The Seasons Supported Living concept is quite simple. At Seasons, residents purchase and live in their own home where personal choice, dignity, privacy and individuality are still enjoyed and valued as a part of daily life. This ensures that our residents retain the same high-quality lifestyle that they have always expected.
Modern, fully self-contained homes
Each Seasons Supported Living home is purpose-built and fully self-contained with lounge/dining room, bedroom/s, bathroom/s and laundry facilities. All are bright and airy and have their own balcony or courtyard.
The kitchens are fully appointed and include stoves, microwaves, cooktops, rangehoods, dishwashers and fridges. Washing machines and dryers are also installed in all laundries.
Many of our residents like to cook at home as they always have, but when they don't feel like cooking, delicious and nutritious meals are provided in the Seasons dining room, where they can enjoy the company of like-minded residents who take pleasure in a full and happy social life.
In total privacy at home, residents can receive around-the-clock assistance with daily tasks such as:
- bathing, dressing and grooming
- getting in and out of bed
- moving around their home and surroundings
- assistance at meal times
- daily status checks
- arranging doctor and medical appointments
- help with suitable diets and eating plans
- emergency response
Our registered nurses can prepare suitable care plans individually tailored to residents' healthcare requirements, including:
- regular health checks
- wound and skin care
- catheter care
- special treatment regimes
- palliative in-home care
- nutrition monitoring
- illness prevention, education and wellness programmes
