Scott Dr Peter A

Dr Scott is a registered specialist orthodontist. He received his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne and worked in Melbourne as a general dentist before undertaking his Master's degree at the University of Illinois, one of the most highly regarded orthodontic specialty programs in the United States.

Dr Scott also combines his private practice with teaching post-graduate orthodontics at the University of Melbourne and consulting at the Royal Children's Hospital where he is currently a senior orthodontist with a special interest in cleft lip and palate conditions and other craniofacial anomalies. He is also a consultant orthodontist at the Alfred Hospital.

We understand that your first consultation with us can often be a bit daunting, but you can rest assured that the friendly staff at Dr Peter Scott Orthodontist will ensure your visit is a positive one, where all of the information you require for your proposed treatment is provided.

Records may also be required and this will involve the taking of impressions for study models and photographs of both the teeth and soft tissue (face).

A script for x-rays may also be issued on this day. X-rays, as well as the other records taken, are an important part of the diagnosis and treatment planning. The x-rays are done at a radiographer and are sent directly to the surgery.
