AT A GLANCE
ResourceCo was founded in 1991, commencing operations in South Australia as an integrated resource recovery business, diverting waste away from landfills and adding value to maximise the recovery of recyclable materials. Today, ResourceCo operates on 7 sites across South Australia, Victoria and internationally in Singapore, employing over 140 personnel.
ResourceCo developed the process of unlocking the energy value contained in commercial and industrial (C&I) waste material via the manufacture of Processed Engineered Fuel (PEF) as a replacement for fossil fuels used in cement kilns and for power generation.
SITA Environmental Solutions (Australia) Pty Ltd partnered with ResourceCo to establish SITA ResourceCo Alternative Fuels Pty Ltd in 2007, with the objective for a future roll out of PEF plants nationally. ResourceCo now recycle over 95% of all waste material delivered to our sites.
ResourceCo has developed state of the art processing facilities that are able to manufacture a large range of quality, recycled products from various incoming material streams.
The product information pack (available here) has been developed to enable our customers to make informed decisions about the products and services that ResourceCo and SITA-ResourceCo provide.
