Set on a single 29-hectare campus, the School offers a coeducational learning experience for students from Early Learning through to Year 12.

Our students are supported by talented & dedicated teachers who love what they do & know how to bring out the best in each individual. They understand the value of boys & girls working together to develop teamwork & self-confidence and, with around 1200 students, our School is large enough to offer a diverse program, but small enough that each student is known by their teachers & peers.

We aim to instil a love of learning that starts from our students' very earliest years at school.

In the ELC and Junior School, students’ introduction to learning focuses on self-discovery and success. In Middle School we concentrate on transition and enhancing the curriculum with unique & stimulating opportunities to engage & motivate teenagers. In the senior years, academic rigour becomes very important as we prepare our students for life after school.

Yarra Valley Grammar students thrive in an atmosphere of support, encouragement and positivity. Students support each other and celebrate each other’s successes. At all year levels our students work together in a co-educational environment on the one campus.

Our Early Learning Centre caters for boys and girls from three years of age with comprehensive full and part time programs taught in our purpose-built centre opened in 2010. Junior School students in Prep to Year 6 enjoy all the benefits of a separate, small primary school, while at the same time having full access to the outstanding facilities and opportunities offered as part of a whole-school approach to continuous learning.
