Business Summary
Since 1955 the Co-op has been supplying quality products at competitive prices PLUS providing substantial financial returns to the tradesperson. As a Co-operative, we are unique - the only plumbing merchant in Australia that offers you, the customer, the opportunity to be a Member Shareholder in the business. All company profits are returned to the Member Shareholders annually. To become a Co-op Member you simply purchase 100 shares at $2 each. This is an investment - not an annual fee. This initial investment of $200 is designed to offer you a healthy nest-egg for your future. Pay 30 days from month end to receive a 2.5% settlement discount on all purchases. Each year profits are returned to Members as dividends or rebates. You can receive part of your entitlement as a cash dividend and part as share capital. The more shares you accumulate the greater the dividend. All purchases paid within terms earn a generous rebate. The more you purchase the greater the rebate return.
