About Us

We are excited to be able to provide the highest levels of health care to our animal friends, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the wonderful benefits a happy, healthy pet brings to your lives.

We want to build a lifelong relationship with you and your pet. This enables us to best understand both their needs and yours and therefore provide compassionate and caring healthcare solutions.

What We Do

Some of the most common treatment we provide in our emergency service is:

  • Pets injured in accidents with vehicles
  • Pets that have eaten chocolate
  • Pets that have eaten poisons like snail pellets or rat bait
  • Snake bites
  • Injuries from fights with other animals
What is the Peninsula Vet Care difference?
Peninsula Vet Care had humble beginnings as a single vet practice in Dromana in 1980. It is now owned and operated by seven veterinary partners who all work in the hospitals and live on the Peninsula. We are passionate about the Peninsula supporting local schools, not for profit and sporting organisations as well as providing free veterinary care for injured wildlife.
Why Peninsula Vet Care?
As the largest provider of high quality veterinary services on the Mornington Peninsula, Peninsula Vet Care are continually seeking veterinary and nursing staff who are committed to providing the highest quality of veterinary healthcare and customer service. We have a strong focus on continual improvement, and so look for team members that are dedicated to maintaining their professional skills at a high level.
How do I know if I need to visit the vet after hours?
This can be a difficult decision to make, as sometimes small changes in your pet’s behaviour can indicate a serious medical condition.
