Nudgee Golf Club's 36 hole complex originated in the late 1920's. The Golf Club was formed in 1930 and the original clubhouse built shortly after. The Club progressively grew, creating a new 18 hole layout, opened in 1950, and a further nine holes opened in 1964, with the final nine holes added in 1991, forming the two championship courses that exist today.
