Business Summary
Mitsubishi Motors/Case IH Dealers
About Us

The business commenced in 1951 from its existing premises in Lyndoch S.A. and is a family owned and operated business.

Mr. Claude Ahrens (founder and father of the existing dealer principal) along with his wife, Mrs. Jean Ahrens, recognized the opportunity / potential in this region and established the garage / servicing operation to service the farm and other equipment of the farmers in the area.

He based his business on Customer Service and good quality workmanship and was subsequently successful in applying for and gaining the David Brown franchise (later taken over by Case IH) in 1954 and the New Holland franchise in 1968. The business also holds the Mitsubishi franchise, which was acquired in 1976.

In 1991 the New Holland franchise was surrendered and the operation focused solely on the Case IH franchise. In 1964 the current Dealer Principal, Graham Ahrens, commenced in the service side of the operation and progressively worked in all aspects of the business, to gain the necessary level of experience to eventually take over the management of the business.

Graham’s brother, Stephen commenced with the business in 1979, in the same way and is currently the General Manager (in addition to being a Director).
