We commenced trading on January 1, 1955. Prior to that date we traded as "Jordon & Jackson" from premises in Kalgoorlie WA. Since then branches have opened around the Perth metropolitan area, regional WA & NT. There are now 16 branches trading under the name JDS as well as a specialist ceramics shop known as Jackons Ceramic Crafts, dealing in pottery & craft supplies.
Due to our commitment to the general art community JDS enjoys a high profile, both nationally & with many suppliers world wide. We have achieved this status with the valuable assistance of our loyal & competent staff who now number over 105. Many of our employees have high qualifications in their field of fine art and have been with the company in excess of 15 years.
