About Us
Jacaranda Preschool provides an Early Childhood education for children aged 3-6 years.

The Program and curriculum at Jacaranda Preschool is formed using the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). The framework forms a foundation that all children in early childhood education and care settings, experience quality teaching and learning.

The Early Childhood team at Jacaranda Preschool will use this framework in partnership with families recognizing that parents are children's first and most influential educators.

The experienced and qualified staff are here to assist you in caring for your children and they look forward to a warm friendly partnership with you.

Why Choose Us?

As early childhood educators, we embrace the EYLF and acknowledge the five principles which underpin effective early childhood practice:

  • Secure, respectful, and reciprocal relationships.
  • Partnerships between early childhood educators and families.
  • High expectations and equity.
  • Respect for diversity.
  • Ongoing learning and reflective practice

We will provide an environment fostering each child's development based on the outcomes in the Early Years Learning Framework.

We acknowledge the crucial role that we, as educators play in establishing strong foundations for children's current wellbeing, future learning and life success.

What We Do

Our vision is to create a preschool that nurtures and values children, providing quality early childhood education that is relevant to the real life experiences of families in the local and extended community.

The Preschool is located at 61 Kelly Street, South Grafton and is licensed to enrol 36 children each day, aged 3 to 6 years.

A Volunteer Board and the CEO of Cranes Community Support Programs works with the Director to make decisions about the centre and its future direction.

We value the input of parents and invite your input on all matters concerning the Preschool.
