Staff Ethos

Each child needs to feel respected in all situations. Each child needs to feel that they are heard and valued at all times. Each child should be encouraged to be confident in formulating and expressing their own ideas and then have those ideas respected. Respect is a basic need of each child. Give a child respect and you give a child self-worth.

Bus Service

The school has four buses, which provide transport to school and return to home areas for parents who find it difficult to transport their own children. The buses cannot transport all children. Any student who lives within 1 km (primary) and 2km (high school) of the school will not be expected to travel on the bus service unless there are special circumstances.

The school attempts to set the bus run such that no child is picked up earlier than 7:30am and returned to the designated drop off place by 4:30pm.

Bus charges for 2012 will be $195 per term per student or $585 for the year.

Families that have more than two children on the bus need to be in contact with the school re discount for families with three or more children.
