OUR STORY

Global Funerals began in the year 2000 in Sydney's InnerWest Suburb of Mortlake by Marie & Santino under the name of NewhavenFunerals. Marie & Santino saw the vision to offer dedicated familyorientated care and guidance rather then follow the “Norm” of other funeralhomes. Marie's and Santino's reputation quickly grew among the communitygroups, families and charitable groups such as Rotary and other charities where Marie & Santino were main contributors, donors and supporters of these various groups.

Marie & Santino wanted to expand their family orientatedfuneral home Globally to families needing their loved ones sent overseas aswell as families wanting to bring their loved ones back home so, in 2010 GlobalFuneral Networks was born. Marie & Santino kept the traditional familyvalues within Global Funerals. In 2020 Marie and Santino passed the business to Dominic Niezgoda who had worked for them since 2004. Dominic had gained theknowledge and values of Marie & Santino and having lost his own father in 2004 he knew his calling was to carry one the legacy that Marie & Santinohad started back in 2000. Marie & Santino still are associated with thebusiness and still ensure that the Global Funeral Networks Values are stillcarried on to each family we serve.
