If you're confronted with a fire, you need to be confident that your extinguisher is of the highest quality. FireSafe CO2 Extinguishers are assembled in Australia under an accredited ISO 9001 Quality Management System and are approved to AS/NZS 1841.
Carbon Dioxide is clean gas which does not leave any harmful residue making it an ideal extinguisher for use where sensitive electronic equipment is present. CO2 is non corrosive and non conductive and is also suitable for small fires involving flammable and combustible liquids.
Fire Blankets
With the majority of fires in the home originating in the kitchen, fire blankets are an essential safety item to smother a fire caused by burning oil or fat in the stove. Locate your fire blanket near the entrance/exit to your kitchen.
In the event of a fire, simply pull the tabs to release the blanket from its casing, hold vertically and place gently over the flaming vessel, completely covering the fire. Turn off the power as soon as it is safe for you to reach the switch.
