Is there any cost involved for my child/children to participate?
No. This is a free event open to children 4-12 years of age to have fun learning about cooking meals.
If I wish to register more than one child, do I need to sign up multiple times?
No. Simply select how many children you wish to sign up. You will then be required to enter in each child’s details and allergy information as prompted. Bookings are essential.
Will my child/children use sharp objects (e.g. knives)?
Children may use plastic party knives for cutting.
Will my child/children use hot cooking appliances?
There may be times during the session your child will be involved in cooking. This will be done under strict supervision by a Drakes employee.
How will my child/children be involved?
Your child/children will see one of our friendly Demonstrators demonstrate how easy and fun preparing meals in the kitchen can be. Your child/children could have the opportunity to assist with the preparation of the dishes to be made on the day i.e. mix the ingredients together.
Will my child be able to take the food created home?
Yes, if your child/children wishes to take their meal creation home. You will be supplied an enclosed plastic container.
