Plenty Valley Community Health (PVCH) provides primary healthcare, social and psychological support services to people of all ages, focusing on the growing outer northern metropolitan area of Melbourne.
Our services have a strong focus on treatment, prevention, early identification, rehabilitation and maximization of independent living skills.
PVCH is a major provider of primary healthcare in our region and is committed to establishing a well integrated primary healthcare service that is accessible to people in the City of Whittlesea and neighbouring metropolitan and rural municipalities.
Plenty Valley Community Health provides healthcare and support services to people of all ages, with a strong focus on health promotion, treatment and the prevention of illness and injury. Our qualified and professional staff work with people to regain and maintain their physical independence and social and emotional well-being.
Consumer and Community Participation
Community and consumer participation is vital in ensuring that the service and its programmes remain relevant and address the health and well-being of the community. We are continuously looking at ways in which different methods of consumer and community feedback are incorporated into both our planning and service delivery.
This work is overseen by the Community Liaison Sub Committee and we are interested in exploring innovative ways of involving the community. To this end, we regularly conduct surveys and focus groups with clients (and their carers) of the service and hold special interest forums and open days. More Info
