Doxa's mission is:
to create opportunities for disadvantaged young people by investing in programs that help them achieve their potential and meaningfully participate in the social and economic life of the community.
Doxa's programs are targeted at giving special attention to the needs of disadvantaged young people where they are denied the opportunity for full participation in the community.
About Us
The Doxa Youth Foundation (Doxa) is a philanthropic organisation formed in 1972 by Fr Joe Giacobbe with the support of a group of Melbourne business and professional people who shared a concern for disadvantaged young people.
Doxa is a Greek word meaning GREATNESS, which recognises that each individual is important and that the community has a responsibility to ensure that every young person is given an opportunity to develop their full potential.
