Beroa Australia Pty. Limited is a member of the worldwide BEROA TECHNOLOGY GROUP, a group of companies specialising in the engineering and installation of refractory linings and the design and construction of industrial chimneys and other tall structures.
The Beroa Technology Group permanently employs 3,800 specialists plus 3,000 contract personnel.
Beroa Australia was formed as the result of a merger in 2008 of York Linings International Pty. Limited (Australia) and Forter Pty. Limited, bringing together many years of experience in refractory and acid resistant brick installation over wide variety of applications in many industries
Our History
Forter Australia Pty. Limited was a member of the Forter Termica Industrial group which had been established in Portugal in 1989 and expanded its operations into France, South Africa, Egypt, Taiwan, Poland and Mozambique. Forter was acquired by Beroa in 2002.
The amalgamation of the two companies in Australia, wholly owned by the Beroa Technology Group, the largest global organisation specialising in refractory engineering and construction and industrial chimney design and construction with annual revenues exceeding A$850 million, provides significant experience and technological expertise.

Experience
Our experience spans greenfields projects, plant refurbishments, shutdowns and ongoing maintenance programs with a combined workforce of both permanent and contract personnel exceeding 600 subject to the company's workload.
Beroa's experience covers a wide variety of applications in most industries and as an example has included the demolition and reconstruction of carbon anode baking furnaces while the furnaces remained on line and operating, requiring careful programming, strict adherence to the company's OH&S principles and close cooperation with the plant operators.
