It’s not just solar, it’s Solahart

Investing in solar is a big decision, and not all solar companies are the same. At Solahart, we have installed more than one million solar systems around the world, and we are backed by over 65 years as Australia’s solar energy experts. We always start with a free on-site solar assessment, rigorously test our systems for the harshest Australian conditions, and guarantee the performance of every product we sell.

Most importantly, we offer solar hot water, solar power, battery storage and Solahart Power Store - Australia’s first solar-smart electric water heater.

When it comes to quality, efficiency and long-term reliability, remember, it’s not just solar, it’s Solahart.

Start your smart energy future today - The benefits of going solar

There is a quiet solar revolution happening on the roof tops of Australia. And at Solahart we are proud to be leading the charge, one home, one family, one solar panel at a time. We are helping smart Aussies make a real difference to the planet, cutting their energy bills, and connecting them to their smart energy future. It’s time to join the revolution. It’s time to get smart, with Solahart.

Reduce your energy bills today

Australia has the highest uptake of solar globally, with more than 21% of homes with rooftop solar PV. As of 30 September 2020 more than 2.56 million rooftop solar power systems have been installed across Australia.

Solar is a great way to reduce your energy bills and your reliance on energy companies by harnessing the sun’s free energy.

At Solahart, we have been delivering hot water free from the sun to households around the world for over 65 years. Since then, our range has expanded to include solar power and energy storage technology.

It makes good sense to start your journey into renewable technology by firstly reducing the amount of energy you use. Conventional water heaters typically make up around 25% 1 of a household’s grid-energy consumption in Australia; so a great way to minimise the energy you consume from the grid or gas network is to replace your gas or electric water heater with a Solahart, and use the sun to produce the hot water your home requires.

For ultimate savings, combine a solar water heater with a solar power system to provide power to your home, and supplement this with a battery system to store free energy you can use at night, or when the sun is not shining. Any surplus power can then be fed back into the grid.

A more sustainable future

By switching to an energy source that’s clean and green, like solar, you can help reduce your carbon emissions and lead a more sustainable lifestyle.

For example, you can replace your electric water heater with a Solahart, and you could save up to 1.6 to 2.6 tonnes of carbon emissions per year, which is equivalent to taking a small car off the road.

Install a solar power system to generate energy without the aid of fossil fuels and enjoy more independence from the grid. Then add battery storage for a complete solution to further reduce your carbon footprint.

Our goal is to help you decide on a solar solution that is suitable to you and not only to help you save money but also to help you live a more sustainable lifestyle while reducing your impact on the environment.

By investing in solar technology, you can help reduce our reliance on fossil fuels in favour of one of the most abundant, consistent sources of energy we have available: our Australian sun.

Take advantage of government incentives

The great news about residential and commercial solar is that the Australian Government has included both solar hot water and solar power as technologies that are eligible for incentives to help you make the switch to renewable energy. These incentives are known as Small-Scale Technology Certificates (STCs)and are linked to Australia’s Renewable Energy Target (RET) scheme.

The value of STCs fluctuates depending on market factors and are available in every state of Australia. However, the number of certificates that can be created per system is based on its geographic allocation (zone) and varies with the type, size and model of the system installed. In commercial applications, the incentives increase significantly, as installations are much larger.

STCs are generally applied as a point of sale discount, helping you reduce the up-front cost of going solar. Your local Solahart dealer will be able to provide all the information you need during a free on-site solar assessment.

Increase the value of your home

According to research conducted by a leading real estate online website, the majority of Australians believe that solar power-equipped homes are more valuable than those relying on traditional means of electricity.

The report states that properties with sustainable features such as solar panels, battery storage and rainwater tanks take on average 13 days less to sell than homes without. In another survey through the same leading real estate online website states that 85% of Australians believe solar power panels increased the value of a property, while 79% believe a solar hot water system would do the same.

Other studies that were done here in Australia and around the world, support this research. Although the value is not quantifiable as such, you could expect that a home with solar power or solar hot water would be easier to sell or would be more appealing than a similar property that is not as energy-efficient or eco-friendly.

Installing a Solahart solar solution means that your home has the added benefit of a brand with over 65 years experience in solar, for even more peace of mind.
