Liberty OneSteel Recycling specialises in the safe handling, collection, processing and distribution for sale of ferrous and nonferrous scrap metals to international markets as well as our company owned, Australian-based domestic steel mills and manufacturing facilities in Whyalla SA, Laverton Vic, Sydney and Newcastle, NSW.

Liberty OneSteel Recycling has more than 500 dedicated employees and handles in excess of 1.2 million tonnes of ferrous scrap and 0.25 million tonnes of nonferrous scrap per annum. The business operates from 22 locations in Australia and three in Asia, as well as from six Trading Offices in key supply and sales market regions across the globe.

Liberty OneSteel Recycling is a AQSIQ approved and licenced exporter to China and is focused on consistently meeting customer requirements and enhancing their satisfaction by maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) which is certified against the ISO 9001:2008 standard. Environmental best practice is achieved and managed through systems and processes based on the international ISO: 14000 Standards.
