What can I expect at consultations?
An initial visit is usually between 30-60 minutes. To assess you fully, we take a detailed history and then examine you. Our aim at your first visit is to relieve your pain and provide you with appropriate information about your condition. A follow-up visit is usually between 20-30 minutes. We will work out what is best for you and provide you with a full package of care from assessment to recovery, including exercises and a personalised after-care program.
Who will perform my treatments?
Your treatment will be performed by a university-qualified physiotherapist.
What clothing should I wear for my treatment?
It may be necessary to examine you in your underwear, so please ensure that you wear something you are comfortable to be seen in.
How do I pay for my appointment?
Private health insurance may cover part of the fee. Payment of the gap is requested on the same day as the consultation. Payment may be made by cash, cheque or credit card via EFTPOS.
Do you do home/hospital visits?
Home or hospital visits are available if required on request and by appointment.
Can I cancel my appointment?
We require 24 hours' notice when cancelling appointments. If you are unable to give us 24 hours’ notice, you may be charged $50.
