Cooling System Service
Drain cooling system. Backflush radiator, engine block and heater core.
Refit hoses and fill cooling system with long life coolant. Pressure test cooling system and check for leaks. Start engine and bleed air from system.
Auto Transmission Service
Drain Automatic transmission, replace filter and adjust bands were possible. Clean auto transmission pan fit new gasket and re fill with fresh oil. Check and adjust kickdown cable were fitted. For electronically controlled auto transmissions scan computer system and check for any fault codes. Road test vehicle and check on road operation.
This is performed using a diagnostic oscilloscope (tune scope) to check and adjust the engine and the fuel/ignition systems to ensure peak performance, reliability and fuel economy. The battery, starting and charging system will be checked together with belts, under bonnet fluid levels and the air and fuel filters.
Finally a road test will be performed to check for any other possible problems and to ensure all the work performed was satisfactory.
