How do I find my tyre size?
To find your tyre size you can look at the numbers located on the sidewall of your tyres. Example size: 205/60R16 96W. You should check the size on the front tyres & rear tyres, sometimes the front & rear sizes can differ. If you have a second-hand vehicle, it is best to check the tyre placard for the correct size as an alternative or incorrect tyre size may have been fitted.
What is a tyre placard?
A tyre placard provides information about the designated tyres for the vehicle and the recommended inflation pressures.
What pressure should my tyres be?
For everyday motorists tyre pressure should be set at the figure outlined on the tyre placard of your vehicle. Please ensure that tyre pressures are checked when tyres are cold.
Where can I find my tyre placard?
You will find the placard on the driver's door pillar, in the glove box, or sometimes in the boot or on the inside of the fuel filler flap.
Why should you rotate your tyres?
Having your car's tyres rotated at regular intervals can help your tyres last longer. It is recommended that you have your tyres rotated every 10,000km.
Why should I get a wheel alignment?
A correct wheel alignment will: Extend the life of tyres by reducing premature wear. Allow tyres to wear more evenly. Improve the handling of the vehicle. Optimise the steering response of your vehicle
