2010 has seen the completion of two years work to define the future direction of St Ursula's College from 2011 and beyond.
Pulling together all the strands of information gained from focus groups, surveys and the Directions 15 Committee, it was clear that education at St Ursula's College gives life through its emphasis on connections and relationships - with God, each other and the environment. St Ursula'' College is an independent Catholic day and boarding secondary school for girls in Years 8-12. The College, which was established in 1931, is an incorporated company owned by The Community of Ursuline Nuns.
The College draws its spirit and tradition from the lived experience of many people across many cultures over four hundred years of history.
Our story began in the mind and heart of Angela Merici, who founded the community of women which became known as the Ursuline Sisters.Angela Merici lived in northern Italy and founded the Company of St Ursula in 1535 in the city of Brescia.
St Ursula's College offers an exciting and innovative curriculum characterized by quality teaching and learning. Each student is challenged to give of her very best in an environment where her talents are recognized and affirmed. The curriculum features a rich offering of subjects which allows each girl significant choice and flexibility as she plans a course of study appropriate to her needs

St Ursula's residential community offers accommodation for 128 girls from Queensland, New South Wales and from various international destinations. The girls are accommodated in two houses - Brescia and Garda.
The houses are named after places in Northern Italy where St Angela Merici the foundress of the Ursuline sisters, lived and worked.
Garda House is the residence for the senior girls in Years 11 & 12, while Brescia House accommodates the junior girls in Years 8, 9 and 10.
Each house has an age appropriate focus and the girls enjoy communal meal times and many recreational occasions.
