More From St Paul's Grammar School Penrith

About Us

A co-educational Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 interdenominational Christian school, St Paul's Grammar School is dedicated to equipping its students to become people of discernment who value Christian faith, integrity and excellence in all of life, and who will serve in the world as confident, competent and compassionate adults.

The school aims to present a world-class education which preserves the best of traditional methodology and keeps abreast of cutting edge contemporary practice. It also seeks to present with integrity the teachings and values of the Christian faith.

The decision you make in choosing a school for your child is an important one that takes time and requires careful consideration of the opportunities a particular school may provide for your child.

To assist you in making this decision, we will provide you with printed and multimedia information about St Paul's and we welcome the opportunity to show parents and prospective students our school in action. We invite you to make an appointment to tour the campus and see first hand the extensive range of facilities and programs we can offer your child at St Paul's Grammar School.

Academic Learning

St Paul's Grammar School has, from its inception, been in the vanguard of educational initiatives that support the holistic development of students and contribute towards a vibrant community of learners.

St Paul's approach is undergirded by an inclusive Christian faith foundation which recognises Jesus Christ as the Lord of our complex and delightful world. Staff and students explore the implications of this in all their learning and seek to express the reality of faith in serving the world. A comprehensive set of Christian values lies at the heart of our educational offerings.

High School sport includes participation in the Independent Sporting Association competitions in athletics, swimming, cross-country, basketball, hockey, netball and rugby, and in other outside competitions in indoor soccer, rugby, rowing, dressage and basketball.

Many students have the commitment to attend weekly mid-week training sessions and Saturday games, supported by family and friends.

In recent years, there have been outstanding performances at State and national level by students in athletics, rugby, cricket, archery, rowing, kayaking, athletics and snowsports. Apart from these sports, the High School sports offering regularly includes softball, a range of whitewater and fl at water sports and mountain biking.

Since 2008 St Paul's has been working through a process with our community in updating our uniform. From 2012 we will see a new uniform in place at the School.

Information on the uniform change can be downloaded in our Our New Threads catalogue which details the new requirements.

We have also changed the location of our uniform shop and renamed in to The Blue + Green Threads. It is located in the space adjacent to the Kiss 'n Drop located between our Junior and High School. We hope you pay a visit to see our new facility and say hello to Brenda and Rebecca.
