At which hospitals do our surgeons perform surgeries at?
Our surgeons operate at all the private hospitals within Wagga and within the public system at Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital. Dr Hatfield will soon be operating once a month at the new Griffith hospital once it is opened. We will keep you advised of this.
Where can I see Dr Hatfield, Dr Bradshaw or Mr Matthews?
As well as our Wagga rooms our surgeons consult at the following locations:
Dr Angela Hatfield & Mr Simon Matthews - Griffith Medical Centre - once per month. Dr Anthony Bradshaw - Temora Medical Complex - once per month. All appointments however must be made through our Wagga office on 6925 2070.
Where are the Wagga rooms situated?
9 Gormly Ave, directly behind the service station opposite the Wagga Rural Referral Hospital is a lane way called Docker Lane. We are situated on that lane way which intersects Gormly Ave.
I am a pensioner, do your surgeons 'bulk-bill'?
Unfortunately, we do not bulk-bill, however pension card/health care card (issued by Centrelink) holders receive a discount on consultation appointments.
How much will my surgery cost?
Our business manager, Kylie will go through your quote with you at the time of booking. If you have any questions or are unsure of anything, please contact Kylie via 6925 2070 - option 1.
Will I have to wait long for an appointment?
We endeavour to see all patients in a timely manner and prioritise urgent appointments if and where possible.
Do I need a referral to see Dr Hatfield, Dr Bradshaw or Mr Matthews?
All patients are required to have a current referral from their doctor. Referrals from a general practitioner last 12 months whereas a referral from a specialist lasts only three months.
Can I see Dr Hatfield, Dr Bradshaw and Mr Matthews about any medical condition?
Our surgeons have a speciality interests and all surgeons confine consultations in our practice to these specialised fields only. I am coming during work hours, will there be a delay?
Our surgeons strive to run on time however this may not always be the case. We are happy for you to ring ahead, to see if you can expect to be seen on time.
