The Ostojic Group is a privately owned family company that has expanded considerably since its establishment in 1972. Today, Ostojic Group has projects in QLD, WA and throughout the Northern Territory.
Ostojic Group successfully delivers projects in some of the remotest and inhospitable regions of Australia.
Our people, equipment and management systems have ensured Ostojic has consistently delivered to our customer's requirements despite the many challenges posed in these remote areas.
Our project staff manage forward project planning, programming, timely ordering of materials, plant and labour requirements and coordination between clients, consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors.
Quality - to consistently deliver a quality service to our clients that meets their needs and expectations.
Responsiveness & Reliability - to continually respond to the requests of the client in a reliable and efficient manner.
Excellent and Open Communication - to communicate openly with all stakeholders - employees, customers, supply partners and the general public.
Integrity & Trust - to act with integrity and be trusted by all that deal with us.
Continuous Improvement - to continually improve in everything Ostojic Group does.
The Ostojic Group applies a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) discipline across the company to monitor all issues relating to health, safety, environment, quality and risk. All information is captured by the Integrated Management System (IMS) under a single auditable and functional management system.
It ensures there are common procedures, processes and personnel in place to effectively manage and control HSEQ risks within the workplace.
We are accredited with (WHVAS) Western Australian Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme and (NHVAS) National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme.
Staffing levels at Ostojic Group vary with workload and demand but are typically around a core of 120, many of whom are long term with the company. Staff levels can increase to up to 180 when the company has major projects operating.
Through our extensive experience and networks, we have developed a close working relationship with a range of consultants and sub-contractors best suited to projects.
The company values of productivity, quality, profit, professionalism, achievement and job satisfaction are paramount. We are committed to encouraging staff self improvement through training and Ostojic Group has consistently exceeded its obligations regarding the employment of trainees under the NT Government policy.
It is also independently accredited for the NT Government Contractor Accreditation Ltd (CAL) for the highest rating of road/civil construction in the NT, for projects in excess of $50 million. This includes adherence to Australian Construction Standards, industrial relations and occupational health and safety practices.
