CINC was started in 1984 there was a public meeting as there was a public demand for a neighbourhood centre with an initial $500 to start off. We were off and running with the first committee formed, we were community driven. CINC set up home at St Johns Anglican Church rectory, actives commenced with volunteer workers and a volunteer committee.
CINC operates at a high service level with a focus on continual improvement. We actively strive to promote the independence of the individual and to provide appropriate service delivery through active:
- Much-needed community engagement
- Implementation of project management methodology
- Effective service user referral, complaints process and service user feedback.
The extensive service delivery is achieved much-needed community volunteers who become the brand ambassadors for the organisation along with the staff. It is important to note that the future will be reliant on the organisation’s ability to place a value or put a price on their services. This is now being addressed.
