Environment & Planning

Our Environment and Planning unit is responsible for a range of activities including programs for water conservation, stormwater quality, energy and greenhouse gases, landfill management, foreshore and biodiversity.

We provide environmental advice to Council, Village Committees, community groups, individuals and industry.

We're also responsible for Council's Corporate Environment Program, which aims to improve the environmental performance of Council operations. Council is continuing to lead the way in the environment sector. Please follow the links below to find out more.
