Nursing & Home Care
With over 24 year's experience, Hunter Nursing is the premier provider of home nursing services in the Newcastle and Hunter region. Hunter Nursing employs a team of professional and supportive staff who can cater to all your home nursing and home care requirements.
Hunter Nursing uses a select team of the most experienced nurses to critically assess the individual needs of each patient.
Working with the patient, their family and any other medical personnel such as general practitioners, these nurses will develop and tailor a care plan to best-suited to the needs of each patient. Care plans are periodically reviewed to ensure that the needs of each patient continue to be met.
Training & Education
Hunter Nursing supports our staff by arranging education and in-services on various topics relevant to your positions. Hunter Nursing encourages all staff to further their knowledge by attending the education sessions that will be held each month. Generally these sessions are not compulsory and staff will not be paid to attend.
If the session is compulsory you will see it on your roster and you will be paid for the compulsory sessions. The in-services are a mix of external educators and Hunter Nursing staff presenting the education. We encourage staff to attend to support their colleagues when they are presenting. Attendance at these in-services will count towards your CPD points.
