About Us

Ground Science was established in 2003 and as a continually developing company, the two Directors; Ernst Gmehling and Chris Senserrick saw the need to not only provide the construction and turf industry with a testing service that honoured their commitment to service, but a company capable of providing a broader range of engineering services and skills to the diverse range of clientele.

The growth of the company is a testament to the quality of service provided and the technical skills and experience of the staff.

Performing an investigation requires an intimate knowledge of soil behaviour and the ability to recognise any potential problems that may occur during construction or in the longer term.

With vast experience in the small to medium sized projects, we are able to provide the level of personal service we all desire. Ernie has over 27 years of experience in the industry and has been able pass on the skills and knowledge to his team of growing engineering staff.
