The Gladstone Region, is intersected by a number of major Australian highways. Queensland's major coastal touring route, the Bruce Highway, provides many access points to seaside and country locations within the Gladstone Region.
The Gladstone Region starts approximately 450 kilometres north of Brisbane, with several key access points off the Bruce Highway.
Turn off at Miriam Vale for the picturesque Discovery Coast, at the Boyne/Tannum intersection for the seaside communities of Boyne Island and Tannum Sands, or at Benaraby for the harbour city of Gladstone.
