Sequential Plastic Aligners

A series of clear, removable plastic aligners can be used to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move, little by little, week by week, until they have straightened to the final position your orthodontist has prescribed. Invisalign

Invisalign aligners are completely transparent and straighten the teeth while staying virtually undetectable. Through a series of custom-made Invisalign aligners created in accordance with your specific oral situation, you will have a new smile. Your aligners exert mild pressure in desired areas and you wear each set for a few weeks before moving on to the next one.

Some of the main benefits of Invisalign include:

  • Invisibility: As the aligners are completely transparent, no one can tell that you are straightening your teeth.
  • Removable: Invisalign is fully removable so you can still enjoy your favourite foods during treatment and smile
  • Comfortable: Because there are no metal wires or brackets causing irritation, Invisalign is completely comfortable.

Patient Information

Children

Children who suck their thumb or have cross bites, protruding front teeth, under bites, overbites, or other alignment problems can be effectively treated with early care.

Adults

Orthodontics is no longer the sole domain of children. Breakthrough advancements have been made in the area of aesthetics, resulting in braces and appliances that are much less noticeable As an adult; there are many reasons why you may consider orthodontic treatment, all of which can offer a life changing result that will continue to be beneficial to your teeth as you age.

EARLY TREATMENT

The best age for children to begin orthodontic treatment varies depending on their individual needs. However, it is essential that a child has lost all baby teeth and has secondary teeth prior to the beginning of treatment.

Because children's bones are still growing, an excellent time to evaluate them for their orthodontic needs is around age seven or eight.

This allows the orthodontist to determine potential future problems and address these sooner rather than later, which can reduce the treatment length and treatment cost.
