Cleary Bros has had a significant presence on the New South Wales South Coast for over 100 years, since it was established in 1916 as a business in transport and timber-getting by ‘John’ Joseph Cleary (known as Jack) and his two brothers.
Under Jack’s leadership, Cleary Bros (Bombo) Pty Ltd, as it was known, evolved to offer project management and services to the construction industry. Following Jack’s passing in 1958 his four children, John, Jill, Denis and Brian took over the reins and continued to drive its growth.
Today Cleary Bros is overseen by Denis as its Chairman. Many third and fourth generation family members remain involved in the business at various levels. Despite being a major player in the construction industry, Cleary Bros maintains its family values approach, delivering quality service to every client.
