Clayton Church Homes Inc originated from the vision of two men working together. Mr Jack Sinclair and Reverend Syd M Munn worked tirelessly to bring their vision to reality and along with many willing helpers saw their effort come to fruition on April 28th 1968.

The official opening of stage one of Clayton Church Homes Hostel at 148 Beulah Road, Norwood occurred and from this time Clayton Church Homes Inc has continued to grow in the provision of quality aged care.

Today Clayton Church Homes provides care to 196 high and low care residents located in four facilities within metropolitan Adelaide, plus 6 independent living units consisting of one and two bedrooms.

It is our vision to provide high quality care to our residents and to achieve this major development work is occurring at our Elizabeth Park and Prospect sites. In addition we will be relocating our Norwood facility to a new site at Magill.


Mission Statement

Clayton Church Homes Incorporated is committed to ensuring that its facilities and management emphasise the rights and dignity of all individuals. It is dedicated to the provision of safe and pleasant accommodation for residents, while enabling them to continue with their chosen lifestyle as much as possible.


The Home's will continuously strive to introduce benefits and standards that are aimed at improving the physical well-being, self esteem and lifestyle of all residents. Clayton Church Homes Incorporated will remain responsive to changing individual and community needs and seek to be of service to both.


Independent Living Units

Located at 24-26 Queen Street Norwood, Clayton Church Homes currently has six units comprising 4 x 2 bedroom and 2 x 1 bedroom units all having en suites, lounge/dining, kitchen and laundry facilities. Undercover car parking is also provided to each unit.

As part of the development project at Magill, a further 28 units will be constructed. All units at this site will be 2 bedroom plus a study, lock-up garage and private rear garden.
