About Us
Range of Services

What Certified Building Solutions performs the role of "certifier" under the Building Act 2004 which was introduced by the ACT Government. This involves assessment of projects against Building Code of Australia & building regulations, inspection of work during construction to ensure compliance and, on completion of the work, the recommendation for the issue of a certificate of occupancy or use.

For single residential building projects, it also includes verifying whether the project is exempt from Development Approval.

There are specific responsibilities that a "certifier" under the Building Act 2004 must satisfy. CBS has the skills and experience to satisfy those requirements while also providing efficient, competitive and high quality service to our clients.
