Eden is the first major coastal town north of the NSW/Victorian boarder. Nestled on the shores of scenic Twofold Bay, Eden is a comfortable 6-hour drive from Sydney on the Princes Highway and 7 hours from Melbourne. Canberra is only 3 hours’ drive away and the snow fields of Perisher and Thredbo are only 2.5 hours away so it possible to go fishing or swimming in the morning and skiing in the afternoon.

If you are contemplating your first visit, Eden has much to offer. The scenery around Twofold Bay is superb; no one will forget the breathtaking beauty of the Bay and its pristine coastline. Twofold Bay is the third deepest natural harbour in the world; it is home to one of the largest fishing fleets in NSW and has been described by whale watching experts as one of the best places in the world to go whale watching. The best time of year to watch whales at Eden are the months of October and November. Eden has numerous charter vessels available for fishing and whale watching.
