A high is sending fresh southeasterly winds and showers onto the east coast north of Sydney. Warm northeasterly winds are affecting the eastern interior and the south of the country. A trough is causing showers and storms over the interior of SA, the NT and WA. The northern jet is sending high cloud over the interior. The polar jet is keeping fronts south of the mainland.
