West Moreton Anglican College (WestMAC) is a progressive and dynamic co-educational institution situated on a beautiful semi-rural campus, only minutes from Ipswich in Queensland's south-eastern growth corridor.

At WestMAC we offer an extremely broad-based curriculum which allows students to select subjects that will ensure individual success in their schooling.

Enrolments

The enrolment process at West Moreton Anglican College involves pre-enrolment, application for enrolment, interview, and confirmation of enrolment.

Parents and guardians of prospective students are invited to contact the Registrar, Mrs Robyn Chandler, to arrange a tour prior to commencing the enrolment process. Mrs Chandler is available by phoning (07) 3813 4520 or by email at rchandler@wmac.com.au.

Community

West Moreton Anglican College is located within the City of Ipswich - a city leading the way in education, industry, residential development, technology, tourism and sport.

Ipswich is centrally situated in the booming South-East Queensland growth corridor and its residents come from 115 different ethnic backgrounds and speak 84 languages.

Our College recognises the importance of community and we have strong associations with the public sector through local, State and Federal Government agencies. Our relationship with the private sector is such that we are the State's largest provider of Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs, with 61 students in 2007 undertaking apprenticeships and traineeships.

Curriculum

West Moreton Anglican College provides a complete Prep to Year 12 Queensland curriculum.

Our curriculum is carefully sequenced to ensure that children engage with developmentally appropriate content and teaching strategies that are responsive to diverse student needs at all stages of their education.

Our sub-school structure; Junior, Middle and Senior Schools, ensures that curriculum design works in harmony with student welfare and pastoral care structures to provide a safe, secure learning environment that caters for individual diversity and optimises learning outcomes for all students.
