The St Vincent de Paul Society¿s members and volunteers provide practical support, advocacy and friendship to the most vulnerable in our community through local groups, known as conferences, as well as our Vinnies Centres and Soup Vans.
Vinnies Centres provide furniture, clothing and household goods to families and people who are in need and are being assisted by conference members. Centres are also a valuable resource for people on low incomes, enabling them to buy quality clothing, furniture and other household items at an affordable price.
Each year the St Vincent de Paul Society is supported by the generosity of individuals, churches, schools, community groups, corporations, philanthropic trusts and volunteers. The variety of support is invaluable and makes a significant difference to the people we assist.
The St Vincent de Paul Society members and volunteers reach out to the most vulnerable in our community through our work in conferences, various special works and Vinnies Centres (Centres of Charity).
