Bishop Druitt College aims to develop graduates who are dynamic, caring and optimistic. They will be well-rounded individuals who are grounded in the Anglican way of faith, hope and love.
Our objective is to equip your children with a mastery of basic skills & subjects whilst guiding them towards their own level of achievement.
The Primary School
The Primary School has four hundred and fifty students enrolled from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Primary School uses the NSW Board of Studies curriculum for all Key Learning Areas.
In addition to the classroom teachers, specialist teachers are employed for Library, Christian Studies, French, Japanese, Gifted and Talented, Learning Support and Music. The College employs counsellors for Primary families to access. The Primary School has an occupational therapist and a speech therapist as associates.
The Secondary School
Welcome to Bishop Druitt College Secondary. We seek to realise the ideals expressed in our Vision and Values document through a range of excellent educational experiences.
The Secondary Campus of the College uses a five-stream model for Years 7 to 10 and offers a broad choice of study programs in the senior years.
As well as offering a thorough grounding in English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Personal Development and Health, a wide range of electives in Technology and Applied Science, Creative and Performing Arts and Languages are offered to students as they progress through the Secondary years.
Bishop Druitt College is a school of over 1150 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 and is situated on one campus in the North Boambee Valley of Coffs Harbour. The College is divided into two areas - the Primary School and the Secondary School.
The total enrolment within the Primary School is approximately 450 students.
The Secondary School expands out to five classes in each of the year levels, making for a total enrolment in the Secondary School of approximately 750 students.
As demand for places in the College is so high, early application for enrolment is strongly encouraged.
