It is impossible to be everywhere, see everything and speak to everyone, particularly in a country as big as Australia.
So we know that while the Macquarie Dictionary is a comprehensive account of Australian English there will be words and phrases we have missed, pronunciations which we have not recorded.
If you have come across a word or phrase that you think should be in the dictionary, you can send it to Macquarie Dictionary for consideration.
First of all you must either be registered as a Friend of the Macquarie Dictionary, or be logged in as an individual subscriber to the Dictionary Online or to the Dictionary and Thesaurus Online.
